At the House of Football took place today the last session on 2009 of the Executive Committee of the Romanian Federation of Football. Within the session have been voted the following decisions, among which there is also the date of the elections for presidency of FRF and the approval of the request made by the League of allowing the clubs to decrease the salaries of the players:

1. The call of the Ordinary General Assembly of FRF for January 25, 2010, at 11.00, at the House of Football, the hall "Nicolae Dobrin". This date was established from two reasons. On one hand, on February 7, 2010, it will take place the ballot of the qualifying groups for EURO 2012. Because the qualification to the final tournament must not be thrown away, the president of FRF, who will be elected on January 25, 2010, shall have time to form, together with his team and with the technical staff of the national team, the program and the strategy for the preliminaries, so that the purpose of qualification may be accomplished. On the other hand, also in the first half of the year 2010, the Local Committees for Organization must be established both for the final tournament of the European Junior Championship "Under 19", edition 2011, and for the final UEFA Europe League 2012, Of these Committees will be part both officials from FRF, and assignees of all the local and national authorities involved in organizing the two events which will be housed at Bucharest.

2. There were also presented the documents which will be referred to discussion and approval of the General Assembly of FRF on January 25, 2010.

3. At the proposal of the Professional Football League, the members of the Executive Committee of FRF agreed to associate the economic crisis, which is present at the national level and in the entire world, with the force major situation. In these circumstances, it was established that all the clubs in Romania, no matter of their level, shall have the possibility to reduce unilaterally the financial rights inhered to the players with no more than 50 per cent, for a maximum period of one year (December 21, 2009 – December 21, 2010).
