Mihai Stoichiţă has had recently an attempt meant to relent the sponsor to give up the awarding policy. "The match bonuses would be good, it would be an extra motivation, especially in this situation, in which the championship is so balanced", said the coach.

The first argument of the sponsor was: "You all have salaries of more than 100.000 euro on year. Would you be interested of 1.000-1.500 euro?! Look, Kapetanos, with more than 20.000 euro on month! Does it matter a match bonus for you?".
"There are a few player who have already obtained a lot of money and who got used with incomes of zillions of euro. For most of them, every thousand is important, especially that some of them earned maximum two thousands euro on month from the salary at the clubs where they came from!", inform some sources from the team. Gigi thinks that he would make a mistake if he pays a victory in the championship: "What’s the point if I give them money when they defeat a no name team, but we end the championship on the 7th place 7?!".
100.000 euro is the maximum amount which a player from Steaua would receive if the club from Ghencea would win the tile and and they would go straight to Champions League
15 million euro, at least, would encash the club for the participation in the groups of Champions League
