Former goalkeeper at Universitatea Craiova, Mircea Bornescu says he was shocked when he had seen Costea’s injury and he transmitted him to be strong and get over this difficult moment.
" Costea is my brother; I suffered when I saw he was injured. I have talked to him, after he received the diagnosis, and I transmitted him to be strong, I encouraged him because he needs this.
Anyway, he is a champion and I am sure that he will return even more powerful and better than he was until now. The match with Universitatea is special for me. I will have thrills, but I will try to detach myself and watch it exactly like a match with any other team in the championship", declared Mircea Bornescu in Cancan.
