Rafal Grzelak has been borrowed for one year from Skoda Xanthi. His contract does not grow out of 10.000 euro per month
The first transfer of Steaua from this summer is the left midfielder Rafal Grzelak. The football player of 27 years old was chosen to cover the "hole” on the left side, where Bergodi had at command only Răzvan Ochiroşii. The Polish came yesterday in Romania and he signed a contract for one year, when he will earn 120.000 euro.
Golanski guaranteed
When the agents proposed him to Steaua, the leaders of the club from Ghencea contacted Pawel Golanski, who knows very much Rafal. "He is a strong football player, valuable; he can brave it out very well at Steaua", said Golanski to his leaders.
Bergodi didn’t know him
The president Valeriu Argăseală admitted yesterday that Bergodi watched Grzelak only on DVDs: "Cristiano didn’t knew him before, but he accepted him. The recommendations for him were convincing. He can make a lot of effort and he centres excellently. We will see how he presents at trainings, but i am sure that he is a good acquisition".

Rafal Grzelak evolved constantly at Skoda Xanthi, a team which finished the Greek championship on the 7th place. The Polish midfielder evolved in the last season in 29 matches, and he managed to score 2 goals. "He did his job every time he entered on the ground", characterized him the coach of Greeks, Ioannis Matzourakis.
Relaxed on the airport, but he didn’t speak
Dressed sport and listening to music at the headset (photo), Rafal Grzelak landed on the Airoport Henri Coandă, yesterday, at 14:00. Because of the interdiction imposed by the club from Ghencea, the Polish didn’t speak too much: "I am glad that I will play here. Golanski had an importany role with my transfer here at Steaua. He convinced me".
"I liked him just because he wears number 10. As for the rest, I don’t know anything about him. I am glad because he didn’t cost too much and because he wants a salary of 10.000 euro per month"
