On February, 13th, the License Committee announced that the nocturne is functional, but after 13 days offered a press release where he affirmed the contrary
Gazeta Sporturilor informed you exclusively in the yesterday edition that FC Braşov refused to play in nocturne with Steaua, as it was established 3 weeks ago, because they didn’t want to offer an advantage to the team trained by Lăcătuş, which is more familiar with the matches played in the floodlight. Because of this match, a great scandal broke immediately.
The match won’t be televised anymore
Because FC Braşov - Steaua was the first option and had to be televised live on Antena 1 on Friday, 6 march, from 20:45. The reschedule two days later would have changed the entire billboard of GSPTV, the second TV channel which transmits the matches. "We won’t televise the match anymore" :X was the announce of those from GSPTV.
Steaua accuses that they have infringed the rules
Steaua reacted immediately and offered a press release in which he accused that everything is an arrangement made by those from Braşov. "The reschedule of the match was made without our agreement, which infringes the art. 14.3 from ROAF and, besides, the reason invocated by FC Braşov, the want of a generator, this is puerile and impossible", declared Valeriu Argăseală.
WHAT HAPPENED IN FACT
Răzvan: "Dinule, make something not to play in nocturne!"
Important persons from LPF revealed yesterday for Gazeta how things changed this way. After the License Committee confirmed on 13th February that the nocturne is functional, the match was scheduled in nocturne.
"After 10 days, Răzvan Lucescu got angry and he said that he doesn’t want to play in nocturne with Steaua. He asked Dinu Gheorghe to find a way to detain this thing ;) ", said one of the chiefs from LPF.
The generator disappeared
13 days after the moment when he signed the paper which approved the functioning of the nocturne from Braşov, Viorel Duru was sending to LPF another address, which changed the situation very much: "The nocturne is not working anymore, we cannot play on Wednesday"!!!
On what basis did Viorel Duru take this decision? Dinu Gheorghe sent an address to FRF in which he informed that they cannot take another generator for electric energy.
The final result? LPF was forced to move the match in the afternoon, without the agreement of Steaua, :S as the rule provides when the day of a match is changed.
LUCESCU JR.’S ARGUMENT
"I want to see them how are they going to pass the diggings which we make!"
The one who opposed vehemently so that the match won’t be played in nocturne, Răzvan Lucescu, explained to his friends and collaborators from the club the reason why he wanted this: "I want to defeat Steaua no matter what. I want to see if they are able to pass the diggings which we are going to make until Sunday, and the fact that we won’t play in nocturne is part of our tactic ;) ".
Steaua has been always transmitted on TV for 5 years
It will be for the first time after many years when the team from Ghencea won’t be watched on TV in a championship match. The last match from League 1which was not transmitted live was played on December 3, 2003, when Steaua won, in Ghencea, with 2-1 with FC Oradea.
WHAT SAYS ELECTRICA BRAŞOV
"The nocturne has been working since 2008!"
GSP asked yesterday an official point of view from Electrica Braşov. What did the chiefs from the institution answer? "Electrica Distribuţie Transilvania Sud, through the Branch Braşov, ensured the energy supply up to the point of equipment delimitation, according to the consumer requests. So the nocturne was installed in the autumn of the year 2008. We don’t know about other problems which appeared later regarding the interior equipments of the generator for the energy supply, in conditions of safety and continuity".
"I am not president nor match organizer, I am sponsor. I had no idea when the match was scheduled. Ask Dinu Gheorghe, because he administrates these things"
Ioan Neculaie, sponsor at FC Braşov
"We don’t have a reserve generator and we don’t have time to find one now. Anyway, i am not advantaged to play in nocturne with Steaua. I don’t care what Steaua wants"
Dinu Gheorghe, the president of FC Braşov
"They shall tell us, because we can come with the generator from Bucharest. I am sure that we can find hundreds of generators from Sinaia to Braşov. The attitude of those from FC Braşov is trifling"
Valeriu Argăseală, the president of Steaua
