The former Champions League winner from Steaua is now held in a Hospital after he tried to take his live.
Ten days ago Lucian Bălan was kicked out from Steaua's youth department and then he tried to take his own life. The former "red-blues" player from back in the 80's took a fist full of pills with alcohol.
He was brought to the Municipal Hospital from Sighetu Marmaţiei where the doctors saved him. He will be kept under observation for one week. GSP called the hospital yesterday and the secretary let us talk to Lucian. "So you can convince yourself that he is ok, i'm going to put him on the phone", said the nurse.
