From the moment when the motor-coach of the "tricolors" came back at the hotel from Belgrade, nobody has seen Mutu. "He packed his bags and went out without saying anything", found out Răzvan Lucescu.
Gazeta has found out from some sources from Serbia that Mutu left with the car at Novi Sad, at 96 kilometers from Belgrade, where he joined a party organized by the manager of the club from the locality, a controversial business man, with an ongoing process for faked matches.

After the Romanian team arrived at the hotel "Hyatt", close to the midnight, the "Brilliant" went to his room to change his clothes. The atmosphere was awkward within the delegation.
But he walked down in a hurry and he left the lodging place of the "tricolors" on a lateral door! Outside he was waited by a black Audi! Nobody from the staff of the national team knew anything about him!

The party where Mutu was invited took place at the hotel "Park" from Novi Sad, at 96 de kilometers from Belgrade. Around 1:00 a.m., he was already at the destination! He returned in the dawn and around 7:00 a.m., with almost one hour and a half before the "tricolors" return to Bucharest, he packed his bags in a hurry and he left Belgrade with a limo to Florenţa!
"Senselessness!"
Actually this is one of the reasons why Răzvan Lucescu decided to eliminate him from the national team and not because of the escape he made before the match, from Bucharest. "Incredibil, cîtă nesimţire!", au comentat cei din stafful reprezentativei.
