The "tricolors" transformed from a powerful force on their own field into a team of anonymous. If until recently Romania inspired fear when it played a match in front of its supporters, now we live from memories.
Romania has already disputed 3 of the 5 matches on its own field from these preliminaries and all ended disastrously. Lithuania defeated us with 3-0 at Cluj, while France recovered from 0-2 at Constanţa, obtaining the draw game. The Serbs left with all the three points, imposing yesterday with the score of 3-2.
The statistics is not on the "tricolors" side. In all the preliminaries which ended with the qualification to a final tour, Romania has never lost more than four points on its own field, and now it has already lost 8 points. Actually, in all the preliminaries groups with four or many teams in which it started, Romania has never lost more than 5 points on its own field. :O

The chances of a qualification in South Africa become almost null, if we take into consideration that Romania has obtained only one point in the matches on its own field with the three adversaries to the qualification, Serbia, France and Lithuania. Besides, the "tricolors" have to play again with the three teams, but this time they will play away.
