Cristi Tănase trained last night and he could be in the starting lineup against Liverpool on Thurday.
Ilie Dumitrescu got great news yesterday from his medical staff. With few players at his disposal for the away match against Liverpool, he now can also count on Cristi Tănase. The midfielder has recovered from the injury he suffered two weeks ago and is almost fully fit.
Tănase managed to do all the exercises demanded by his coach without having any pain. He will also have the same program today and tomorrow on Anfield Road. If he will be capable, he will be a first minute starter against Liverpool.
Tănase didn't play against Unirea, Răduţ playing on the left side in midfield. Răduţ was also one of the two players that Liverpool's scout was impressed by. The second one was Latovlevici: "I really liked Steaua's left side. It was the only thing that worked on Steaua".
Bicfalvi will find out tomorrow if he can play
Another dilemma for Ilie Dumitrescu is Eric Bicfalvi. He will travel with the team to Liverpool but will only find out tomorrow if he can play on Anfield.
