Lucescu wants to have Mirel at the squad on 4 October even though Al Hilal is asking him to let the player play in the Asian Champions League semifinal on the 6th of October.
Mirel Rădoi (29 years) is fully fit after 10 days of injury when he dislocated his right shoulder in the match against Al Gharafa. The Romanian players now faces other problems. Al Hilal and the national team are fighting because of him.
Al Hilal: "We'll fly him straight to Paris"
Al Hilal is playing at Ryad on the 6th of October against Zobohan (Iran) in the semifinals of the Asian Champions League. The club wants to reach an agreement with FRF to let Radoi play the match and then sent him straight to Paris the next day.
FRF: "The FIFA regulations are clear!"
The national team staff said that Al HIlal did not contact them and that they aren't considering letting Rădoi play. "The FIFA regulations are clear: the teams are obligated to put the players at the disposal of the national team 4-5 before the game. We don't understand how matches could be scheduled at this time".
