The spotter of the national handball team of Romania, Radu Voina, declared on Thursday, for NewsIn, that the failure with Germany was caused by the weak play of his players, who had rather thought to go home than about the match for the places 7-8 from the WC from China.
"Not Germany put us to silence, but the girls played lamentable, maybe they thought about what they had put in the luggage, about the fact that we are going home. The match played today disappointed me, we have made a lot of mistakes as for three matches", explained Radu Voina.
The coach made a short resume of the tournament from China: "Until this match I was sad, we have been defeated, but we struggled and we wanted to win, but with Germany, the girls were interested only in the return at home. After such a match you have nothing to say, you can only remain silent and accept what people say".
Voina made also a comparison with the previous final tournament: "It was another evolution in Macedonia; we had won a team there. You may lose in a nice way or you may be embarrassing, as we were today".
