Steaua’s sponsor wants to buy a valuable defender and he asked the advice to his former coach, who lent him one million euro
Gigi Becali asks again the help to his friends in order to have liquid money, as he confronts in plenty with the financial crisis. Authorised sources affirm that Steaua’s sponsor borrowed money from Cosmin Olăroiu, his former coach from Ghencea, the amount of one million euro. The money will be used to bring a top defender, but Becali might need a part of the amount to pay the salaries to the football players on this month, yesterday being the time-factor when Rădoi and co. should have been paid.

It is not the first time when Olăroiu helps Becali with money. :s Almost two months ago, two millions euro entered in Becali’s account; the money was sent from Saudi Arabia by the coach from Al Hilal. The one who told about the borrowing was the sponsor of Steaua. "I do not have cash anymore", explained he. Cosmin Olăroiu lent 2 millions euro to Gigi and Steaua had money to go to Munchen (video) :O
"There are things which happen as result of my friendship with Gigi"
Called yesterday by Gazeta Sporturilor, Olăroiu was very enigmatic when he was asked if Becali asked him again money. "This is not true and even if it was true I wouldn’t tell you. These are private things which happen because Gigi is my friend. I didn’t tell about the money I lent to him not even last time, he was the one who told. It is his business", said Olăroiu.
Oli wins 2,5 millions per year!
Olăroiu left in June 2007 from Steaua to Al Hilal and he wins now 2,5 millions euro per year only from his salary. To this amount it is added the huge bonuses he receives from the sheik for the victories, this could mean even 25.000 euro for a match, but there are also the bonuses if he wins the title, when Oli earned almost 200.000euro. In total, up to the moment, in the 18 months spent at Riad, Olăroiu earned over 4,5 millions euro. :O Olăroiu is very well paid by the Arabians (video)
500 000 euro per month has to pay Becali only for the salaries of the players from the first team, this amount is earned by Oli in less than 2 months and a half to Al Hilal

The duel from the distance between Steaua and Dinamo continues also in the cotest break. Yesterday, Cristi Borcea sent arrows towards Gigi Becali: "We won’t shorten the contracts. On the contrary, if we win the title, we will increase the players’ salaries, we won’t reduce them as some clubs do. And we won’t even fire them as it happens in other clubs. We are not in crisis; we would have sold Ropotan immediately if we didn’t have money".
