Mara signed with CFR for a salary of 200.000 euro. He will play instead of the Argentinean, wanted in Russia
Bogdan Mara (31) is the 5th element of the winter mercato for CFR Cluj. The champions are waiting for Rubin Kazan to transfer the money into the account for Culio’s transfer, almost 4 millions euro, but they already found someone to replace the Argentinean. The former midfielder from Urziceni will sign for a season, with the option to extend for another two seasons, and he will have a salary of 200.000 euro per year. Mara will receive another 200.000 euro bonus for installation!
The president Iuliu Mureşan declared yesterday that the coach Dusan Uhrin insisted to bring Mara: "Uhrin wanted him very much. But this doesn’t mean that he has the title for sure. I hope to play with CFR in Champions League". It is interesting that Mara refused a superior contract from Turkey, from Konyaspor, in order to sign with the champion team: one million euro for two years and a half, plus 200.000 euro bonus for installation.
