Becali doesn’t joke. He is indeed the coach of Steaua after Lăcătuş left. He was present even yesterday at the training of the team and, besides; he made an unlocking to the players. "Now, at the match with Timişoara, from Friday, you will see whether I am the coach or not. If we win, it means that I am really good at coaching and you don’t need any more a coach. If we lose, then I have to bring Panduru to reestablish the order and discipline", said Becali.
With Liţu and Rusu as forwards :-)
As Becali has already announced Pedrazzini that he wants Rusu and Liţu to play in the offensive, and because Stancu and Kapetanos are injured, at the trainings they applied some tactics which have in center the two young forwards. "Rusu has to play behind Liţu, this should be the tactic. Liţu shall deviate and Rusu shall come from the back and shoot, because he has a strong shot", these were the arguments given by Becali for his decision of using the two.
"It is like in a barrack!"
After he left the stadium from Ghencea, Becali commented the situation from the team. "I brought Rusu in the first team, but as for the rest I haven’t done very much. My presence at the trainings will help the players because I impose a strict discipline. The players are not allowed to speak at all with the press because in the barrack nobody enters", declared Becali.
Offensive 20 years old and 1, 89 meters
The decision of advancing Rusu and Liţu as titles in the match against Timişoara will change a little the configuration of the team in the offensive. In the first place, Steaua wins something in the size with the presence of the two players. Rusu has 1, 91 meters, and Liţu has 4 centimeters less, and this way it results an average of 1, 89 m, with 5 centimeters more than the tandem Stancu-Kapetanos. On the other hand, the age average of the couple Liţu-Rusu will be of only 20 years.
Liţu in this season
- he played in the turn at Buzău, where he evolved in 13 matches for 780 minutes
- he didn’t score any goal and he didn’t even give any goal pass at Buzău
- he had an average of the marks of 5,17 at Buzău, only 5 players being classified behind him, and Bicfalvi is among them
- in the return he played for Steaua, where he evolved in 6 matches for 103 minutes
- he has never scored for Steaua and he didn’t even offer a goal pass
- he has an average of his marks of 5,00, being on the last position, with Pleşan and A. Ionescu
Rusu in this season
- not even a minute did he played for the first team of Steaua in the championship matches
- he played only 10 minutes in the match with Sportul (0-2), from the "16th" of Romanian Cup
- he is the goal getter at Steaua II, a team which is on the first place in League III
- at the second team of Steaua he played in 21 matches and he scored 13 goals
49 % of the goals scored by Steaua in this championship, i.e. 20 of 41, were scored by the couple Stancu - Kapetanos, which will miss in the match from Timişoara
2 matches played Steaua in this championship without Stancu and Kapetanos: 2-1 with FC Braşov, on their ground, and 0-2 at Galaţi, with Oţelul
