After the episode of receding Mutu from the "tricolors", the brothers Victor and Ioan Becali continue the war with Răzvan Lucescu.
The national team of football is in danger to lose soon also the other leader of this generation, Cristi Chivu, after Mutu was expunged from the tricolors team. The entrance in silenzio stampa of the captain of the Romanian national team, but also the last reactions of Victor and Ioan Becali, his agents, seem to be just the first steps to this resolution.
"If I were him, I wouldn’t have come at the friendly matches"
After the match with Ukraine, the first one who appeared on TV to criticize, at sport.ro, was Victor Becali: "If I have been in his place, I wouldn’t have gone to the match with Ukraine, with the mother of Ukraine or with the mother of Austria, after I won Champions League. If it had been a final tour, let’s say it was ok. But, for friendly matches, no way".
"Maybe even other players will be saturated"
Much more precipitant was Ioan Becali at GSPTV: "Chivu waits one year to see how things are going in the Romanian football. Anyway, if we continue with these negative results, some football players could be saturated to come at the national team".
On February, in the middle of the scandal "Mutu-sibutramine", the same Ioan Becali announced that "in the autumn, after three-four matches, Gică Hagi will be installed as coach at the national team. After a few weak results we will desperately the brand".

Roman is out, returns "Goe"
The right midfielder Mihai Roman got injured in the match with Ukraine and he didn’t go to Austria for the meetings with Macedonia and Honduras. He suffered a wrick and he was allowed to leave home so that he wouldn’t risk a more serious injury. For the games from Austria, Dorin Goian will return to the team, he took leave for absence from the spotter to baptize his child.

Although it was anticipated that he won’t play in Austria in the friendly matches with Macedonia and Honduras, Chivu has decided to stay with the "tricolors". He trained yesterday free and easy, with the titles from the match with Ukraine; except for Tibi Ghioane and Andrei Cristea, who trained normally with the other players.
