The spotter of the national of Greece, Otto Rehhagel, announced the nine international players for the preliminary team of the Grecian representative for the World Cup from South Africa, among these being also the forward from Steaua Pantelis Kapetanos, informs Europapress.
The spotter Otto Rehhagel will announce a team of 30 players for the World Cup from 2010 and then, until the deadline, 1st June, will transmit the final team of 23 players for South Africa.
The other eight players summoned by Rehhagel, besides the player from Steaua, Kapetanos, are: Sotiris Kyrgiakos, Giorgos Samaras, Vangelis Moras, Socrates Papastathopoulos, Alexandros Tziolis, Christos Patsatzoglou, Fanis Gekas and Angelos Charisteas.
Greece is part of the group B of the World Cup with Argentina, South Korea, and Nigeria.
Pantelis Kapetanos debuted for the national team of Greece at the beginning of March, in the friendly match with Senegal, with the score 0-2.
